Enrollment Steps

1. Submit Open Enrollment Application

Parents must submit the Iowa Department of Education's (IDE) Open Enrollment Application digitally via DocuSign. A copy of this completed form will automatically be submitted to Clayton Ridge Community District and to the email address you provided on your application.

  • Enrollment for Grades 1-12 submit by March 1, 2018
  • First-time kindergarten students submit by September 1, 2018

2. Mail completed Open Enrollment Application to Resident District

You must then print the completed copy of your Open Enrollment Application and mail it to your resident school district. After completing the digital application above, you may access a signed version to print out by clicking on the 'Show Document' link. You will also receive a confirmation email from DocuSign which includes a link to your completed, signed application.

Send your application(s) by standard post. To find the correct mailing address, go to the Iowa Department of Education’s website and refer to the Iowa Public School District Directory.

4. Submit an Online Application

To submit an online application, you'll provide us with basic information about your student.

5. Complete the Admissions Process

To complete the admissions process, you'll provide more detailed information about your student, submit necessary documentation and fulfill any additional requirements related to your student's enrollment.

6. Complete Admissions Call and Final Documentation

All families will participate in an Admissions Call with an Enrollment Consultant. You may also have additional steps to complete depending on your student's individual situation. If this applies to you, you will be notified and instructed on how to complete them.

7. Receive Official Approval

To complete the admissions process, you'll provide more detailed information about your student, submit necessary documentation and fulfill any additional requirements related to your student's enrollment. Upon successful completion of the above steps and approval of your Open Enrollment application, your student will be approved in our school.
